OFS F2 FiboFade is an automated intraday fade strategy based on Fibonacci levels for 1-minute footprint charts in ATAS. The strategy plots levels based on yesterday's daily candle range. It opens a counter-trend position only when the footprint of the candle touching the level meets all specified conditions. The trader determines when to enable the strategy, what volume to trade, and when to intervene.
Trading financial markets involves a high risk of loss. Backtest results on historical data do not guarantee future performance. The decision to run the strategy, configure its settings, and determine trade volume rests solely with the trader at their own risk.
Operating Model
Intraday: designed and tested for 1-minute footprint charts
Holding time: from a few minutes up to the time-stop threshold (90 minutes in default settings)
No overnight holding: positions are not held overnight and close before the daily session break
Non-scalping: averages roughly 0.8 trades per trading day on MNQ
Automation & Control Once toggled ON, the strategy automatically submits entry, stop-loss, and take-profit orders, manages the position until exit, and cancels remaining working orders. Control always remains with the trader:
ON/OFF toggle
Trade volume defined by the trader
Manually adjusted stop-loss or take-profit orders are recognized by the strategy
Manual closures or executing "Flatten" in ATAS terminates the trade, and the strategy synchronizes with the account balance
Order submission is completely blocked while the TUNE configuration window is open
Strategy Mechanics
Level Map
At the start of each trading day, the strategy evaluates yesterday's daily candle and plots eight Fibonacci levels across its range. The map remains fixed all day and non-repainting. Low-volume days (weekends, holidays, shortened sessions) are skipped, ensuring Monday levels are built off a full Friday session.
Entry Conditions
On every closed 1-minute candle touching a level, the strategy evaluates its footprint:
Delta in the upper portion of the candle
Buying imbalance strings moving up the price ladder
Total candle delta
Counter-trend entry occurs only when all conditions confirm buying exhaustion. A 3-day trend filter can suspend operations for the entire day. A dedicated entry filter blocks setup scenarios that produced historical net losses.
Trade Management
Market order entry
Stop-loss and take-profit referenced from actual execution price, linked as an OCO pair
Take-profit targeted at the next level or fixed tick distance
Time-stop rule
Daily loss limit and maximum allowable losing trades per day
All execution events logged directly to ATAS logs and the strategy's dedicated log file
Optional Telegram notifications for entries, exits, and errors
Historical Testing
Built-in backtest visualizes every trade the strategy would have taken on loaded chart history
Auto-backtest sweeps selected rule combinations to pinpoint historical top performers based on net ticks, win rate, and profit factor. The trader selects which setting profile to apply
Self-check routine reconciles backtest totals against on-chart visual feedback

OrderFlowSmith is a team specializing in indicators for order flow and market structure analysis in ATAS. Instead of hundreds of scattered tools, we offer a well-thought-out lineup of 11 indicators that cover the key tasks of volume analysis. Volume Profile: volume distribution across price levels. Footprint & Absorption: intra-bar volume and areas where aggressive orders hit limit orders. Liquidity: where orders are concentrated and how that changes over time. Market Regime: analysis of the current market state. A separate area of focus is tools for building strategies based on rules defined by the trader. The core principle of OrderFlowSmith is data predictability: indicators are deterministic and non-repainting, meaning values on closed bars never change retroactively. Licenses — available as subscriptions or lifetime access — are connected via the official ATAS module system. A free trial period is available for select products.
