The POC Pivot indicator is unique because it doesn’t just mark volume concentration — it shows where that volume occurred within each candle. By signaling when the point of control forms at the bottom of a bullish candle or the top wick of a bearish candle, it highlights moments when volume is strongly aligned with market direction.

POC Pivot converts per-candle volume profiles into directional signals by flagging when the single-most-traded price within a candle sits at a candle extreme. That price-location + volume prominence is interpreted as evidence that market volume was strongly aligned with the move, giving traders a concise, actionable read on directional conviction. Users can customize the visuals of this indicator, and it can be used on any timeframe. There are no alerts, and no sensitivity customization.

The POC Pivot indicator can be applied in data analysis to highlight where volume strongly supports market direction. For example, if a bullish candle forms with its POC anchored near the low, a trader may interpret this as aggressive buyers absorbing supply and use it to validate a long entry or strengthen confidence in an existing position. Conversely, when a bearish candle shows the POC stacked at the top wick, it signals heavy selling pressure at higher prices, which traders can use to time shorts or prepare for further downside.
