VWAP Pro CVD

What sets this indicator apart is that it applies the VWAP calculation not to price, but directly to the Cumulative Volume Delta (Ask − Bid). It works as a counterpart to a standard VWAP, but runs in its own dedicated-scale subwindow with 5 symmetric deviation bands — bringing a "VWAP on CVD" feature to ATAS.

The indicator is not a standalone trading signal. It visualizes order flow behavior — the trader interprets it as part of their own analysis and makes all trading decisions independently.

Instead of tracking the volume-weighted average price, the indicator tracks the average Delta. Plotting the VWAP of the CVD alongside its standard deviation bands helps traders visually gauge the strength of aggressive market participants. When the CVD stretches far from its VWAP, reaching the outer bands, this may point to exhaustion or a "trap" for buyers or sellers — traders can treat such moments as one reference point among others in their own analysis.

Settings

The indicator is fully configurable: you can adjust the multiplier for each of the 5 deviation bands, choose multi-session reset options, and enable extension of previous session zones. Colors and visual style can be customized to match any chart template.

Example Use Case

A trader is watching a bullish trend. Price makes a new higher high, but in the VWAP Pro CVD subwindow, the Delta reaches the 3rd or 4th upper deviation band and starts flattening or dropping. This may point to potential exhaustion of aggressive buyers — buy orders hitting the ask are being absorbed by limit sellers. The trader may treat this divergence at the band extreme as one possible option for a short entry, as part of their own price-structure analysis.
